Tee hee is it that obvious ![]()
I fitted this to a Trailer Tug at a place I worked a few years back. We had a 1/4 inch of snow one day and everyone panicked and bought a snow plough ![]()
I modified it to be quick release so they could take it off when it wasn’t snowing (it never bloody snows) they couldnt be bothered to do that and left it on and a fortnight later it got caught on a high kerb and they ripped it completely off the mountings.
I took it home to weld it up and repair it. They never EVER asked me about it or asked for it back so I have it next to my container now as an ornament.
I’m gonna fit it to my hilux one day when I can be bothered. It won’t be any use but it would be funny.
that would look awsome on the front of a hilux… the ultimate technical … just need the 12.7 dshk on the back ![]()
You’d need the plough to weigh the front down ![]()
But be careful.
I have worked with snow plows and I can tell you that the mechanical stress on all the parts on the front of the truck is significant.
My brother-in-law in a Chicago suburb, pays something like $140 a month to have his driveway kept snow free. The snow blower/plow dude comes at night. They say they never hear him, so it must be like 3:30AM. Wake up, driveway be clean. A couple of other homes on the cul-de-sac subscribe, so probably not a bad side hustle.
Oh it won’t get used
it never snows lol
you had to say that … you do know that now we are in for the worst winter in decades, possibly the next ice age…

A very Scandinavian picture! Also I envy you for that sandwich. ![]()
That jet is so clean… I just want to fondle it lightly…
I want to smell it. ![]()
Coke bottle gummies! That brings back memories! ![]()
Digging in heavy clay to get these fruit trees out. We’ve put them up on our yard for resale. Not a ton of money, but it was a fun day of honest hard work.
Man, thank gods it’s Friday! My tennis elbow is barking throwing chain straps over this load! I’m going to low ball this at around 100,000 lbs of roof truss wood …
-25 Celsius this morning too (-13 Fahrenheit)
Do the front and rear axels on the trailer steer?
German? Can’t read the side but looks like it on the tail
