Where Are You Photos [2023]

I didn’t even know if the Spruce Goose was in a museum, let alone where it is, or that you can actually visit the cockpit - That is now definitely on the bucket list.

And you nearly had me with the SR-71

The pond as it is now. It suffered an algae bloom, but in time it should stabilise and become clearish again.

Still, well done. That is a lot of work and effort there and it looks superb (green tinge notwithstanding).

Yep and we not only made something beautiful, we also made a fair bit of cash xD

These are of last week’s project. Finished planting the roof (he wot mate?! Ask scoop) today at 1830ish. Long day.

The door slides. It’s a garage for one of these:

I am actually familiar with that (Grand Designs is one of the bride’s favourite shows). Bloody good idea and I wish we saw more of it here, particularly high density urban environments.

Guess the dead glow plug.

The dead one that cost me 2 hours of my life and the worst skinned knuckles I’ve had for ages.

Mercedes-Benz. Why do you hate me.

Is it the second one?

Correct. Which obviously was the last one i took out the car to test as it was the most awkward

How in hades did you spot the dead one @Aginor ?! My bet would have been all of 'em, as I don’t see no difference between them.

Its surface is pretty rough. Would have been my guess as well

I wish I could claim some profound knowledge there.

I basically only guessed, that one is the one with least soot on it, and it looks rough.

I barely know what a glow plug is.

They get so damn hot that they basically burn any deposits off and stay pretty clean. If they are rough and sooty, dead plug. Just wish i would learn and start with the difficult ones and work backwards…

No pictures worth anything but I’m in Vienna.
It was super funny as when landing the hostess said “Welcome to Vien–na” in some sort of funny accent and I couldn’t stop giggling because it sounded like “Welcome to Viet Nam”
