Huh?
Those 2 photos above remind me of the time a friend and myself were doing an overnight cycle ride (I do long distance stuff). To stay awake you often talk about everything and often it’s usually non stop drivel in my case.
Anyways my friend was a very well informed stargazer and he was showing and telling me all about the constellations and what not we could see. The conversation got onto astral navigation and as he was expertly telling me how to follow such and such a star in relation to such and such a star and nothing will ever go wrong we missed the bend in the road and both fell down a slope into a muddy ditch.
Agreed!
LoL !!!
The irony in that is not only about as thickk as it could get, but funny beyond measure to !
Guessing simfreak’s next post in the food thread will be…duck.
Well I am at no fancy place (at home) but there surely is interesting stuff going on here
It looks like the smallest one might follow my footsteps ![]()
I’m lost too. That’s clearly a photo of the RCAF refueling and rearming two fighter escorts and a squadron of trainers.
2 x C17 and its hornet escort…
was too busy gawking yesterday to snap a pic of the C-17
kids said it looked like a shark ![]()
They absolutely do look like a shark. Your kids are totally correct.
We had a fun time, given the flight path here in NC I knew it was going to most likely turn straight over my parents house. My Dad insisted on walking to the other side of his development to see better. I saw the C-17 dip below the trees over the hospitals in Butner from that side where we walked to.
It then proceeds to pop back up, bank right and head… yes directly over my parents house
Was just the lone C-17 and we still had a good view of it, but still kind of funny.
That first photo is amazing!
I put up some additional strings of lights on our patio. I made the comment that our backyard looks like the Do Lung Bridge and my wife just stared blankly at me.
Where’s Roach?
LOL! Don’t get me started on Apocalypse Now! ![]()

I have old style incandescent on my patio.
Ah! Dual purpose lights that also qualify as a space-heater!
