Hell yea! We stood in that shop for about 15 mins or so debating with each other about the merits of each model. He was adamant the leopard 2A5 was the superior platform for destroying the living room. I stood my ground and the challenger 2 came out on top though.
Gotta love a rifled barrel. Lol

Obi is 3…im 34 (but 3 on my own internal clock haha)

Hmmm. Tank museum. Bovington by any chance? My Dad took me there when I was a kid once or twice. That was a long time ago now!

That’s the one mate. Lovely place. Its really good value as well. Even with 2 nippers I was there a good 5.5 hours. Free. As you get an unlimited entry ticket for the year when you go the first time.
I felt a bit bad to be honest and popped a few coins in the restoration tin as they have suffered as much as any other place has during Covid and still let me in without quibbling

Visited here today for lunch as it is struggling due to loss of income from covid. I love the painting of Op Mana, dropping food to the Dutch. The Gin and Vodka is good too.

I should have mentioned:

The spire is the wingspan of a Lancaster bomber.

All the trees are laid out at the relative position of the Bomber Airfields and are named.
Every crew member who was killed is named on the wall. The Centre itself has the details of every fatal flight and in many cases who shot the bomber down

But for Covid they would probably have finished the final stage of the centre which makes the roof of the building look like a Lancaster - two tail fins and the wings extending out.

The moon rising over the trees, taken at 11:30pm last night with my iPhone. It’s amazing how good the cameras are on smartphones now.

First time climbing at the Arena in Mixnitz. The grading is absolutely relentless, which is unsurprising given that this was one of Europes most elite climbing spots in the 80ies. The hardest part was finding routes that weren’t absolutely hopeless to try.
