Where You Are Photos [2021]

Nice mix of prop aircaft at Reno: GA, PC-12 (my former company Surf Air), Epic E1000, Hercs and tilt rotahz.

Headed home, climbing over Lake Tahoe and chasing the sun.

Snow still looks in attendance. Need a trip out to ski Heavenly badly, although this time it will really hurt with 3 ankle biters. At least we can put them in ski school for a half day.

It’s been a dry winter in Cali. Last major storm was 4 weeks ago. Spring like weather all February. Heavenly looked good as we flew past, but saw a good number of dark areas in the lower elevations indicating no snow. Great resort though.

Coffee, chocolate and 3D printed parts! New bracket for my panel assembly that allows me to clamp it to my desk. The bracket slides into a 2020-al extruded profile and on the desk.

Spent an inordinate amount of time looking for the Su-25T in the sun or an Mi-8 sling loading a surfer…

I’m not Russian lol.
The only thing you’ll see flying above this beach is a NH-90 and every once in a while a couple of F-16 :slightly_smiling_face:

I miss the daily sight of the coast guard seaking, not the rotor wash tho…
(sorry for the crappy vid…probably the most original way I broke a camera )

Spent much of the day in the woods…still clearing brush and small trees…marking the property line. Now beer o’clock…pleasant 73F day here today!

Yay… we have a perfect storm moment on our line at the moment…

A few years ago they centralised all of the signals for our area… instead of having small local signal control, they put them all together in one building … Which has just been evacuated due to some contractors messing something up
