It’s alright. On a good day without wind I can hold a pace of about 35km/h for an hour.
If you’re a normal person who cycles on weekends just for fun it’s very impressive, if you attend teamrides once a week it’s pretty quick - probably quicker than what you can do for long without drafting, if you do amateur road races it’s average at best and if you’re a professional it’s incredibly slow. It all depends on your perspective xD
It feels weird to me seeing these wide American driveways with just a few bushes on the side. I always feel like it’s wasted space, probably because we usually don’t have that much space in Germany and our cars tend to be smaller.
In Germany this driveway would probably be a maximum of 3m wide and the rest would be a nice garden with lots of flowers, bushes, maybe some water but definitely lots of plants that bloom at different times in the year so there’s always colour.
Looks lovely! But indeed as Derby says, very alien looking to us European folks, in The Netherlands it would probably have been a gravel path or simple brick path with bushes and perhaps small stone walls on the side of it. Although as wide as this is, it must be a breeze to flip the car around!
It is a tactical aircraft with a very storied development history where three very different services with very different requirements were forced to accept a single airframe that would be able to “do it all” but ended up being an excellent specialist in just one single mission… is it an F-35?
