Who Killed WW1 Top Ace The Red Baron?

In WW1, the top fighter pilot Ace, with 80 kills/victories, was Germany’s Manfred von Richthofen, The Red Baron. He was finally shot down & killed, in his bright red Fokker Triplane, but who did it was debated until 1969. Even now, there may well be ongoing differences of opinion!. Hope you enjoy. Cheers.

He was killed by a bullet…
That’s all we’ll ever truly know for sure.

Wrong, he had too many currywursts and it caught up to him!

I can relate… If I lived in Germany I would probably die from eating way too many curry wursts (and gulfing them down with beer).

Too bad currywursts didn’t exist in Germany during the Hohenzollern era.

Funny piece of history- there were actually no wurst at all during WWI, as all the skin used to make them was taken to manufacture Zeppelin.

Well… kinda.

The irony that sausage casings were used to make a sausage-shaped weapon of war. :stuck_out_tongue:
