Install windows fresh, install apps fresh, use data recovery tool to recover documents if it wont let you copy/paste.

Not a good first impression. SkateZilla is right. Time to swap out that SSD. They usually coming with imaging or cloning software, right?…which I guess only works if you have a functioning source drive.
