X-Plane 11 Public Beta 1 First Look

Not really but it kinda reminds me of when I downloaded XP11 (and the entire world  ) about a month ago. It took about a day and a half. After it finished downloading, I fired it up only to find that all my RAM (24GB) was in use and it crashed out requiring a reboot! I’m thinking there are some leaks here and there.

Well, I just cleared my Recycle bin, had 7GB, launched XP11 (which resides on a different drive) and my system drive (C:) is down to 2.75GB at the moment…

This might be caused by swapping. When all of your RAM is already consumed, the OS provides some disk space for additional memory. This might not be good in regards to performance…

Does anyone else get warnings that your keyboard has an axis unassigned or something when you launch the beta? I get it every time, and can’t figure out how to make that one go away.

My keyboard has no axes, so that’d be a weird warning.

Don’t have XP11 yet though, so ignore me

I get it if I have a TM MFD plugged in, because I haven’t set that up in XP11. Goes away if I unplug it.
