By the way: has anyone of you tried recording videos with XP11 yet? For me it works perfectly (while the nVidia tool does nothing at all btw), but audio is missing. Any clue what I might be doing wrong?
set to desktop and alt tab to something, or hit the windows button even just to get it started, then go back in game. Havenāt tried in the latest beta, but even on desktop recording it wouldnāt start, but that little bit of just starting it with something else in the foreground worked

Another small video test.
Recorded audio with another tool, all video recording software I tried either crashes or records only a black screen or doesnāt record audio. So I am stuck with X-planeās own rendering. Works great with tracks but not in real time so the recorded audio sucks if it is more complex than this one.
Merged audio and the video tracks together with Avidemux.
EDIT: And apparently Youtube butchered the quality a bitā¦

Nah, you wonāt get airsick, thatās just a few meters above the ground, so it doesnāt count.
EDIT: And I just noticed how badly I want to do that in VR.

But I think I read that the XP devs are in contact with the FlyInside guys so chances are good it will work I guess.
I also tried some custom sceneries already and they make it look even better. The one in the video is just stock scenery Corpus Christi TX. (also who the f*** calls a city like that?)

Anyone know if X-Life is working with XP11?
@BeachAV8R has a FlyInside beta that does apparently work with XP11 Beta. I donāt think it is out yet though, but must be pretty soon.
Apparently it does, although fresh install the latest. Lights on traffic is a bit weird in XP11b2 but X-Life seems to be ok.
EDIT: Insta-crash to desktop for me, so perhaps not. On their forums people are saying it worked for them e.g.

Does the X-plane Garming 430 have a land/water overview? Or am I looking for a non-existant feature? Iāve not yet found a good answer for that one. To be honest I havenāt messed with GPS in simulators for yearsā¦

Thanks @chipwich - damnā¦Iām still on the fence during this sale. Iām <-> close to buying the PC12 because I want it so badā¦and I would find it hard to believe they wouldnāt at least offer up a small patch to fix issues that XP11 breaks. Iām thinking I might gamble on itā¦
Is anyone else seeing an extreme amount of disk space usage when running XP11 beta? Right now I have 5GB open on my SSD, but when Iām running XP, I get a warning that Iām running out of disk space, and indeed, when I check, Iām down to a few hundred MB remaining. Once I close XP, I get all that space back. Anyone know what might be going on there?
