…and purchased. Because I’ve been having fun getting back into X-Plane.
Why do I feel like all those little people need to be speaking Simlish and walking around with green diamonds over their heads?
The Flightfactor 777 v2 has left beta

A bit pricey, but looks like a lot in there for your $$$.
Might be just the ticket for some of the longer legs on this years Xmas flight ![]()
Virtavia B-29 Superfortress xp12 - Military Aircraft XP12 - X-Plane.Org Forum
Very nice addon and free
Thanks for the ‘heads up’. I have had my eye on that for a while now.
Looks like they have fixed all the issues with the earlier versions (overheating/cowl flaps etc). I have the Virtavia F7F Tigercat and although they are definitely more of a survey than a study sim I could not pass it up at this price. ![]()
Downloaded. In the absence of a good 4 engine prop airliner like they have in MSFS (DC6, Condor, Connie… etc) this is the next best thing.
Ohhh my, don’t remember me the lack of excellent 4 prop aircraft on xp. 4 prop old aircraft are my nr1 fav of aircraft, its why one of the most used flight sim (even having all the others installed) here still p3dv5 because the dc6, a2a connie, pilots b314, dc-4, c130, …
The only 2 payware aircraft with 4 props on xp are the super sad and low quality textures c130 (i could sell a finger to have a top quality connie or c130 on xp12) and the b314 that not yet tried, but after have the pilots b314 the one in xp looks very meeeehhhhh…
I even still have the fsx installed because the a2a b377, yes i love civil 4 prop liners.
its great that there are community members who can further update the addons . dont know how far they went with this update though . so be so kind as to let us know after you test-fly it

I know there’s a Freeware Lockheed Electra out there, but I haven’t tried it out yet.
I’m looking at creative ways to cross the Pond for the Christmas flight this year, so I’m interested in some of the planes being mentioned here.
another Lockheed here . this one used to be payware , now released as freeware

I’m a big fan of that one. I flew a leg in it a few years ago.
Thanks for linking the Lockheed. That will be great fun bush flying.
I loaded her up at Stewart (CZST) with real weather, which was
METAR CZST 152000Z 00000KT 3SM -RA BR OVC050 OVC060 12/11 A3009 RMK SC5SC3 SLP192
…but seemed much lower. XP was giving me a carb icing warning about two minutes after spawn. I neglected to consider takeoff trim, much to the danger of my seat cushion. I eased up the power ever so gently, perhaps too cautiously, then realized that the crate was not accelerating with the necessary gusto to clear the trees. So I firewalled her and - about that takeoff trim. We get over the trees with a few feet to spare, me grinning all the while, she is going to be just perfect. Into the crud we go, mountains on each side of us, ho-ho, ho-ho.
I got her as payware back then , dont know for which from the many tracks we did ![]()
its really great she is now freeware , but means probably that we will not see any other addons from the dev - @OliXSim
here is his other work - Tante Ju , now as freeware too
