You are all warmly invited to a celebration of life for Ace Pullen.

We meet Monday 8th June with a start time of 13:00 at South Oxfordshire Crematorium and Memorial Park, Garford, Abingdon, OX13 5PA

Then after the funeral you are all invited to the Market Tavern, Bridge St, in Bampton for the wake.

Ace was a colourful and casual chap, so please don’t dress up — come along in your casual pub clothes.

Ace was vibrant, fun and enjoyed a good knees up. So we ask you do the same in his honor.

No idea if it is appropriate or not..but I swung by the store on my way home tonight and am going to tip a few back for @Victork2 … One of my rare nights off so I’m going to drink and play some DCS.

I so wish I could charter a plane and round up all of us N. American fans of his and jet over there. I know he would grin at our silly low level flyover.

Let me know what your plans are, I’ve got evening shifts but I am going to try and figure something out if I can get them free. I think flying to Heathrow is the quickest.

I am planning to drive there the 6th and back the 9th. With @TheAlmightySnark , @Freak and @komemiute the car is sorta full. As will @Scoop’s spare bedroom. While flying is far quicker than the 6 or 7 hour boatride from hoek van holland to harwich, it leaves us without transport in the UK.

I have two spare furnished double bedrooms, a small library and two camp beds. A lounge with two reclining sofas and a big tent with two rooms. Three or maybe more spare sleeping bags. Post code is LN50PW if you want to see exactly where we are. All would be welcome. Might be an @Keets as well, maybe an @tempusmurphy . Maisies handler is phoning tonight so we are progressing towards being a two German Shepherd family. You would see this seven miles away plus lots more in area. MIGHT be able to sneak you into work to fly something (F4 II or 737).

I can’t belive people from all over the world are coming! Ace would have been overwhelmed to just see you all in person.

Ace was going to bring you, Obi and Lara over to my work but he is too young for the Phantom. Once he is 12 it can happen if he is tall enough. I can get all three of you in the 737-800 sim now if it appeals in due course.

See you on the day. I am afraid Ace would think me formally dressed for the funeral. Its an army officer thing. I will however dress to Aces and your expectations for the village pub!
