Do y’all think that is a marketing stunt and he will be back or will he actually stop?
There is a record or two he could still beat, he didn’t play bad at all this season.
Will we seem him in a commentary booth?
Will he become a coach?
I think he will actually retire. Even though he played well this season having his final game being a playoff loss is not as bad as actually making it to the Superbowl and having his final game being a loss in it. I also think the BUCS are not Superbowl bound for the next few seasons no matter who is their quarterback. Brady is just out of time to wait until next year.

I believe if he waits till Feb 4th to announce it, he keeps an additional 20 million from his contract. So I highly doubt anything official will occur between now and then.

Kudos to the Bengals on that, some major miscues by the Chiefs, but the Bengals still had to put the work in.

I’m still not clear on why the 49’s transitioned from a run heavy offense, to giving the ball to one of the more mercurial QB’s in the league today. It might have all worked out if they had gotten the 4th quarter interception. I don’t fault Jimmy G on the last interception, could have just as easily been a hail mary that got picked. Last down to work with you try anything, and it didn’t work. Some of his other passing on the other hand was highly suspect. I’ll be curious to see how Trey Lance does.
Stafford didn’t impress me here anymore than he did in Detroit. He has a couple All-Star caliber receivers that if he can get the ball in their general vicinity they can make a play. We’ll see if they can make it work in the Super Bowl.

Hmm… sounds a bit ‘meh’ to me.
Don’t get me wrong, I understand the reasoning behind the name I guess, and it is at least somewhat clever. Still… meh.
I see that “Redskins” had to go, but I don’t see what was wrong about the suggested Native American themed names, or the logo which I found OK.
But it seems they chose to go the completely new route.

The Dolphins logo was way better when the dolphin still had its helmet on!

So… there’s a football game today it seems!
I am having an football day today: chicken wings and a hotdog, craft beer, a lot of junk food and all that stuff while watching the ramp up show for hours.
My guess is that the Rams will win so I am rooting for the Bengals.
Either way: I want to see a nice game. Also stoked for the half time show today, with Eminem et al.
I took a day off work tomorrow, so I won’t be in Zombie mode.
Well even if and most likely when they lose the Bengals will still not have surpassed the futility of the Buffalo BIlls and their four Superbowl losses.

Bengals 17-10 is my prediction.
Run defense is solid on both teams so far.
Yeah, the flyover was amazing. With around 70 years of technology between the aircraft, I’d love to know the behind-the-scenes story of what it takes to make it happen. And which needs more maintenance hours, the Mustang or the Raptor.
