Tua needs to retire,
in 2022 he had a major concussion and staff lied and said it was his back, then a week later stacked a 2nd major concussion on top of that,.
At that point, once you have 2 major concussions stacked, your brain will never fully recover, and I speak from experience, having had 2 concussions back to back in less than 3 weeks, it took me over 10 years to be symptom free.
He barely bobbed his head on the turf and had yet another brain stem signal disconnect to his limbs. *(Fencing response).
For his own health, he needs to retire, it’s only going to get worse with every hit or fall he takes.
Most athletes are asked to retire after the first occurrence of a Fencing response, Tua has had 2 in less than 2 years.
Shame that it wasn’t Tua’s finest performance, but it should be his last.

We can blame the Dolphins for his '22 horror show given they kept playing him, despite the injury.
This time? That was on Tua. That dive was not the most clever thing a man could have done in his position. He’s going to at least need one of those protection caps.
The Dolphins need brow beat him and outright drill it into his head to not do that kind of thing.
The opinion I’ve heard from a lot of docs is that, perhaps, retirement is a bit of an extreme conclusion to draw from this but it sure is preferable of the previous sentiment of “walk it off, panzy.”

those protection caps are worthless.
2 inches of foam on the outside of the helmet does not stop the brain from moving inside of your skull.

Yep in the 80’s they’d have dusted him off, probably gotten him back in game, definitely the next game. We’re not in the era of the defense trying to kill the QB, so might as well get a few more yards anymore.
It’s interesting how heavily they’re being brought up, but there is very little research out there on them. The NFL says they’ve done plenty in house, and they’ll release it “soon.” Not holding my breath.
