I try to go to one NCState game a year. Good football and better tailgate

Watching Toledo vs Kentucky now.

Well they didn’t even make it to week 3 this year

It was embarrassingly empty by the end of halftime from what we could see on TV (watching from Lynnwood Brewing). Even with beer sales now allowed in Carter-Finley.

If all goes well I’ll be at the October 10th game for military appreciation day.

I just heard that a German TV station will broadcast some college football games as well, one each Saturday.
I hope that they pick interesting games, as I like the commentators a lot.

Edit:
Oh and another thing: I am going to root a bit for the Cleveland Browns this season. I think they made some great progress and I would be really happy for them to have success and reach the playoffs.

So would the rest of us Cleveland fans

So games are on, and wow, quite a lot of surprises already!
Sadly not all of them are good (Injuries for examples).

Today on German TV:

  • Rams @ Panthers
  • Giants @ Cowboys

This has been hard to watch. Apparently all that turnover in the receiving corps in the off season was for naught.

I’m really looking forward to the Steelers-Pats game tonight. It’s going to be even more of a grudge match than usual.

Nice punt block though!
They might win it if they push on.

Just when you thought being a Browns fan was finally going to be worthwhile…

Yeah it is going to be a long way.
Don’t lose faith!

Cowboys started their game…not quite stellar.

index

Dak Prescott just had a QB rating of… 158.3 !
4 TDs, over 400 yards.

Sure it was against the Giants, which isn’t exactly the greatest defense in the league, but that sure was a nice start into the season. :cowboy_hat_face:

Remember, it can always be worse.

Nice win. I was rooting for the Giants…of course…as an Eagles fan. Philly gave me a scare in that first half today against the Redskins. Then the Wentz / Jackson bromance blossomed in full in the second half…LOL. Now if we can keep Wentz off the injured list and Jackson out of the night-clubs in Philly we might have a season…

His alligator arms will come back after the first hit he takes over the middle, no need for the night-clubs to do him in.

I wouldn’t run across the middle of an NFL field either. I can’t call him dumb for that…LOL…

well it is kinda his job :stuck_out_tongue: I dunno, it’s cool if he does well now that he is back, but man I remember him short arming deep balls down the sideline and all that last time around.

Could be worse, could have been this guy

Yeah. I’ve never had a problem with his gameplay per se, as an Eagles fan I was more concerned with the off-field distractions that he seemed to attract. Of course, Jackson may have been vindicated when the Chip Kelly experiment failed. We all get older and wiser…hopefully Jackson has decided to let his game speak for himself. I was pretty worried on that 15 yard personal foul in the first half though…bad memories. LOL…

I won’t be surprised if Jackson 2.0 turns out badly for Philly though.

Freak of timing though that when the announcers were talking about Foles that he got pulled for an injury. I’m a die hard Foles fan. Wentz has a huge cross to bear now with that shadow constantly dogging him…
