Oh dear, just saw a review of the Steelers game. How the hell did the 49ers win that, with five turnovers lost???

Watching the Panthers today all I can say is that they are a much better team when they actually run their regular offense. Fake wr reverses, actual reverses, general misdirection plays in the backfield, zone read/option and so on.
Guess we’ll see what happens in the next few weeks.

I also watched that game and I have to say: Defense and special teams saved the Saints there.
Bridgewater had a few good actions but not nearly enough. Without Kamara they would have gone nowhere offensively.
The Seahawks just couldn’t stop the run.
Well, the Browns didn’t lose as badly as I thought they would, but they did gack the game away… Will be interesting to watch if this team keeps their composure and keeps fighting or if it will begin to rot from the inside.
It is a long hard road but if they don’t let that get inside their heads I think they can have a decent season.

Btw: one thing for me to watch as a non-fan in a Patriots game:
Jakob Johnson, Fullback #47 is a German boy, from Stuttgart, 30km from where I live.
He is one of IIRC six Germans in the league, of which only three play regularly as far as I know.

I know right? Finally a game that everything was clicking. Just wish it happened a bit earlier in the season, but I’ll still take it.

Cowboys lost in a weird no-TD game against the Saints.
Judging by the highlight video it was a defense fest on both sides.

Vontaze Burfict has been suspended for the rest of the season.
Burfict is a dirty player and the hit was hard and flag worthy, no question. I just wonder if it is worth a season-long suspension.
Edit: watched it a few more times and now I actually tend to agree that it probably isn’t too harsh.
Did he have a tire pressure gauge in his pocket?
