HARHARHARH! I’d love to have an AC-130 in ARMA! 
I think there have been several, over the years, for both ARMA 2 and 3. As mods ofcourse. I recall it wasn’t really possible to slave all the weapons to a single sight, so each of the weapons had to manned by a seperate player, and the AI pilot didn’t really like to fly the circle pattern in a way you could actually get your weapons to bear. This made it take quite a bit of manpower in return for the firepower you’re getting. If they ever did something official, and something that you could get something out of with just 1 or 2 players, sure.
The jet DLC looks pretty cool. I’m especially digging the JAS-39 Gripen lookalike. I mostly found jets in ARMA quite fun, to strafe and bomb ground targets with in support of some friends. The air-to-air game was a bit overly simplified for my likings.
