That was intense. Played some Combat Ops with @Victork2 just now and we did better than expected but still died a few times when we poked the hornets nest trying to take signal hill. There were about 5-10 bad guys up there. We took down quite a few of them, went down swinging. Unfortunately I was too preoccupied with not trying to die to take any screenshots

Its not often I can run outside to check conditions of Game Models so thought this should be fun.
The Humvee models in this game are amazing frankly. Very little to critique!
The seating position is Slightly to the left
The wood panel isnt there (That could be because it an older army truck and not a USMC one) its also tidier than mine. no radio shelf brackets either
8 bolt wheels…urgh. again, army
These clips are much too big. as are the airlift rings.
wrong colour… cheating here slightly…
the mirrors are excellent. really really good. apart from the lower bracket being wrong way up
the wipers are parked the wrong way. but now i am really splitting hairs.
The Truck in the game is a very early M998 or 1047 3 speed, 6.2. Mine is A much later M1123 4 speed 6.5 so there will be inconsistencies but on the whole. pretty good!
one thing, when you go to start it, it spins over for a few seconds then catches. humvees, do not do that. they will start the instant you select start, unless there is a glow plug issue. a minor gripe.

I tried to open the ports so me and @saghen could play but god only knows what i did. The game wouldn’t load at all so i removed what i did and it still wouldnt load normal or experimental. I verified all the files and it seemed fine after that.
Any ideas what i did OR how to open a port?

I simply forwarded port 2001 on my router

So anyway…
You need to login to your router. Typing in the IP adress of your router should give you a login page, some routers can be accessed via DNS-suffix. Running ipconfig in windows will give you the routers IP and/or its DNS-suffix. Login details should be on the router.
The UI differs from router to router of course but port forwarding is usually found under your network settings. Forward the necessary port(s) et voilà.
Edit: Any specific time we want to start tomorrow? I could do evening hours CET, for example 2024-12-28T19:00:00Z would work for me. I might also be able to come on a little earlier. No real commitments the next day so I can stay up late.
