I familiarised myself with the mortars and I can pop down a mortar with a supply truck as well as other toys and will happily do the calculations.

We’ll need a spotter team and a mortar team as well as some security around the mortar position as the mortar will draw quite a lot of attention. I might bring a few friends to help out and worst case I pop down some AI squads to guard the mortar position.

Keep in Mind, the Combat Ops game mode is only 5 players :o

I can host another mode and just create something with game master es well I guess

Yeah, we played the coop mode that is limited to 5 players on Everon and 6 players on Arland. There are other modes that allow for way more players and as a host I have access to the Game Master so I can just create a scenario on the fly I guess. I’ll try to be there a little earlier and set something up.

I will be online about 30min early and setup a Game Master Scenario.

Not to make anyone feel bad but Obi (8) just got got 3 kills using an AK and an Xbox controller and managed to escape on foot.

I’m incredibly annoyed but pretending I’m proud.

Edit: I’ll put up the server in about 45-50min and start creating a scenario in Game Master so that I have something ready when you guys show up at around 20:00CET

Filter for Mudspike and the PW will be mudspikeFTW as usual

Thing is live. I have already put some stuff and enemies down. We’ll make it up as we go along

Up to 25 players IIRC I think we won’t be nearly enough to fill the server

That was a good 5h run for me until the crash. I’ll look into setting up a proper server for us.

Of course I forgot to take any screenshots …

That was epic. The AI seems way better than in Arma3, better balanced in how accurate they are too.

I am just messing about with a locally hosted dedicated server, ports should be forwarded. If anyone here is still online and wants to search for mudspike in the multiplayer browser to check whether the thing shows up, I’ll leave it running for the next 30min or so. If not that’s okay, we’ll check another time then, I just wanted to familiarize myself with the thing.
