Yeah I’ve uninstalled it and will check it out in a year or so and see how they are getting on. At this point I would need a new PC and with the current GPU line up it’s just not worth it. PC parts have become so ‘eh, why bother?’ recently. I feel like Marvin the depressed Android could review them.
That’s not a bad strategy actually. There are so many good racing sims out now, that it’s hard to deal with ACE in such an unpolished state.
Yep! And lets be honest, I do not need another GT3 simulator. Recently went back to AMS1 to run some classic Group C1/C2 cars that you can’t find anywhere else.
… I can turn laps in the MX5 Cup @ Laguna all day long in AC. I don’t know why but that combo is just perfect for me. Still chasing decent times but it just doesn’t get old for me.
I’m spending the bulk of my time in AMS2 lately, and with the huge number of tracks and cars there it’s not close to getting old yet.
I loved PC1 and 2 and skipped PC3 after the universal negative reception (which later resulted in the company’s closure). AMS2 is definitely the PC3 we should have received except with a lot more cars and tracks from Brazil!
Laguna Seca with the 1995 CART cars is so damn perfect in AMS2.
I love the vintage racing in AMS2. I think that I’ve driven the Group C most on period correct tracks, but also 80s and 90s F1. All are fantastic experiences.
Did someone make a translation guide? These copyright-friendly names of the cars mean nothing to me, I need their real world names!
Has anyone tried the new patch? Fuji is quite Beautiful and very challenging …taking The New Lambo STO through Mount Panorama in a early morning mist is a surreal experience in VR…also performance seems a bit better…still getting the intermittent online/offline thing though.
It’s on my “list”…probably get to it Sunday.
