That is exciting news! A day one purchase for me. There is a nice freeware Vulcan available at X-Plane.org but the JF Vulcan looks like it will be quite amazing.

Yes, sadly the free Vulcan have many panels in the 3D cockpit were the switches are in 2D, that is a punch on the face in the feeling of being in the real aircraft.

Also this Vulcan is a must to have when you already have the Orbx TE UK…

I want this aircraft so badly that before i was even thinking if i buy p3d/fsx-steam only for it. Now, no more crazy thinking…

Definitely this is a thing! I mean finally something completely different from all the standard ‘airplane clones’ :sunglasses:

They used the wellsbourne airfield Vulcan for this. That’s my local Vulcan

The Just Flight site now has the price listed, but still no ‘buy button’. When I was a kid, back in the late 70’s and early 80’s I used to watch the Vulcans fly over my house on their way to the ‘Thursday War’ exercises, presumably working with the Navy off the south coast. There was no mistaking the Vulcan, even though they were at altitude… very impressionable to a young boy. Sadly I did not become a RAF Pilot, but it certainly lit a spark that stayed with me to this day.

That’s just a rambling explanation of why I will have to buy this Vulcan today. As if there was any doubt in your minds that I would  .

Review soon please

Sounds are amazing… and she is certainly pretty (IMHO)… A more comprehensive write up will have to wait until I have flown it a bit. My first impression is that she is a bit of an handful. That could be due to operator error though  .

Fun fact…XM655 is based at Wellsbourne airfield not far from me. When I fly in there I have to consciously NOT look at it.
In fact the first time i flew in there with my instructor he told me off for saying (through a combination of nerves and me being a bit weird generally) “don’t look at the Vulcan, dont look at the Vulcan” over and over again.

It can get distracting when you see a rare or unusual aircraft… I know all about that!

I am curious to know if air refueling works.

I want this one please.

Good question. I can tell you that the refueling probe is a long way out in front of you when in VR. Probably a good thing considering the limited visibility from the cockpit.

Oh, and this bird can fly at quite a high AOA… beware of striking the tail when landing! Don’t ask me how I know!!! :astonished:

Does it aerobrake realistically on landing if you hold it nose high?
