Mostly I still have the fondest memories of Falcon 3.0 and at that price I couldn’t miss it.
As for the BMS download, you have to create a free account on BMS forums and from there you get to “hidden” forums pages with the download link.
Sounds like a “SnakeEye” but it’s a “Slick”.
(translated: sounds like a drag but it’s a fast process…)
Well. First few hours with bms. Got to be honest I wasnt expecting much. Took me a while to download an alternative launcher and mess around setting my basic flight controls up. Flew around for a bit and got to play in the viper after a few stumbles. Started getting a little bit irritated by the hurdle jumping to get it functioning with my pedals and hotas.
I know I’m extremely late to the party here. You’ve all most likely been and done it and forgotten about it but all I can say is WOW.
I am totally utterly and completely blown away by this… it is incredible what this team have pulled off. It’s a miracle. In all seriousness I could actually see me not using dcs for a while. Even the technical documents they have amassed are a stunning piece of work. Wont bore you all with stuff you’ve all done years ago but honestly if anyone has never given it a try i cannot recommend it enough. I love the look and the feel of it and the campaign looks amazing. I keep sitting here shaking my head at how incredible this 20 yr old game looks now.
The frame rates I’m getting are as smooth as butter it makes dcs look horrendous by comparison (my old pc is getting a bit tired now this isn’t dcs fault to be fair) but this runs like it’s on rails. Fantastic. See you in the spring guys.
