This is pretty sweet. I’m really excited because this looks like it might be the next aircraft type we get in a couple years at my job…
That thing is right up my alley!
There’s something about seeing a jet landing on a dirt strip that just feels … not right?
That is some awesome cinematography they’ve got going there!
That is very cool. I guess the engines sit quite high so the majority of the dust kicked up passes under the intakes. Still, you’d think the fan blades are taking a hiding from the flying dust / soil!
I guess that’s one way to try and take the public’s mind off your recent problems.

Pretty classy.
Classy yes. But the tone might hit a little hard for some. To me, a touch less snarky and a little more respectful would have struck a better chord.
Hmmm … 2021 is just around the corner
Ah good news it’s NOT going to be bombardier anymore.
Lucky he was able to get away with it.

Absolutely 100% yes! Look at it! I love this design
It looks kind of like this one, but with the center section cut out.

I’m really not sure what they gain from doing that. Surely having a filled in center section would add rigidity and strength to the ‘fuselage’ and if nothing else, a lot of room for fuel.
The arguments they provide on their site is reduced mass and a more favorable surface-to-volume ratio. They think it’ll be 20% more fuel efficient than an A350-900 while having a similair amount of pax (314) or cargo (160m^3)
As I saw pointed out on another site’s comments - you now have to be even more concerned about passenger loading as if can affect the CoG in multiple directions now. It also looks like fun for the cabin crew to scramble around.
