OMG What the bleepidy bleep bleep. How much are we loving DCS right now?!?
It only costs you a night out. Just pretend it was a night out when u got in an argument w the musses
I am an hopeless optimist, so Iām saying āsomeoneā, since the Multicrew is being implemented in helos, thinks they can pull off a multicrewed B17.
And Iām frigging happy.
You heard it here first. (not true)
Just got home and I watched it again. THis time, not on my phone but on my LG 32 inch screen⦠When was the last bone chilling DCS video? That was something else. Mossie, cant wait.
Thatās why I always take gas from opfor tanker, just to be safeā¦
Now in order to use the B-17 optimally as a strafing gunship, the pilot and crew shall have to get used to prolonged inverted low level flight. This is not easy, but almost doubles the firepower available. Oh the shenannigans weād pull in a
clownship
Did I miss a memo, or are the Dynamic Eagles working on a multi-crew Fort
Chinookā¦
There is a campaign idea in there somewhere. In keeping with my recent reading list - the struggle for Dien Bien Moo.
Cows are usually red. Just open one up and have a look.
Not sure about the Belgian Blue, though.
Herds of Cattle now moving across DCS Mission Editor to hide themselves in Normandy
map since itās seldom usedā¦
We are gonna need an OPFORā¦
The more eye candy they add the sooner Iāll need a new, well, everything.
the fact that the ED logo was splashed w/ over 55 seconds left in the video time should have been a huge clue that there was a teaser at the endā¦
;lmao:
Watching on TV you have to pause it for time bar. I normally hit back to find something else to watch

Road map from ED Russians archives:
Kate Perederko (dotrugirl)
-
Stable version will be updated in the coming days, before the holidays (Dec 31 ā Jan 10 in Russia).
-
The AH-64 D (2002) will be developed, but the Early Access version will be closer to the AH-64A in terms of features. Radar is not yet confirmed (āitās a secretā).
-
According to Kate, the new clouds are āalready optimizedā (you wonāt need the 3080 to run it). They will be released in multiple stages: 1. Presets only (release date - with the 2.6, āas soon as possibleā, āweāre almost thereā, āno, not āin two weeksā - more like āin two monthsāā) 2. Configurable weather 3. Dynamic weather. Apparently, the new clouds will be synced in multiplayer at stage 1 already.
-
No Tornado for DCS : no data in open sources, and the aircraftās manufacturer denied EDās purchase requests.
-
Afghanistan map is quite possible (DCS already has a lot of relevant units for this setting). Vietnam map - rather no than yes. Cuba - no . Overall, ED doesnāt have any definite plans regarding future maps.
-
ED is going to ātake awayā all bombs and rockets from the 3rd party devs (weapons will be developed internally).
-
The development of the clickable Mig-29 9-12 will start after the Black Shark 3.
-
Dynamic Campaign will be given to beta testers in the first half of 2021. Itās already playable, but users should not expect anything breathtaking at start. This will be a long continuous work.
-
No World War 1 in DCS, itās not even planned.
-
Mi-24 has been postponed from the initial āAutumn 2020ā release because ED wanted to create the multi-crew subsystem first. The module is not quite ready for release yet, but thereās ālight at the end of the tunnelā. AI co-pilot for Mi-24 will have name (like Jester), but āitās a secretā.
-
Kate promised to personally hold all future modules (including the Mi-24) from being released half-baked. They donāt want to repeat the Viperās fiasco.
-
Caucasus map will NOT be expanded to include detailed Ukrainian & Crimean territories.
-
Marianas map will first be released in modern version. WWII variant will follow. Development of this map has been slowed down because of the COVID.
-
Combined Arms 2 is on hold, all devs are busy elsewhere.
-
F-4 will be developed, eventually, but probably by a 3rd party dev. No particular model has been picked yet.
-
Me.262 is NOT in the works.
-
Mig-27 is NOT in the works. Not planned neither.
-
AH-1 - ānot yetā.
-
WWII Zero from ED - āprobablyā (in the internal wishlist).
-
Soviet WWII planes - not planned. When asked about La-7, teased by OctopusG this Summer, Kate replied āI donāt know anything about itā.
-
No immediate plans to release more naval helos & planes, E-2 or C-2.
-
ED canāt yet figure out how to merge multiple maps into one (e.g. Normandy and The Channel).
-
Kate promised to personally deal with the Mirageās radar problem.
-
ED think they found a way to solve paratroopers and AI pathfinding issues.
-
No immediate plans to make the T-72B3 user-controllable.
-
The new ground ATC is still at the very early stages of development.
-
ED doesnāt really want to add civilian air traffic in DCS, because āweāre military simā.
-
ED will not allow 3rd party devs to officially create the Su-57 module for DCS.
-
DCS merchandise - āmore info early next yearā.
The F-14A still struggles to go supersonic in level flight. Very, very disappointing that this has not been fixed.
Same for the constantly broken A2A missiles, JSOW issues, and JDAM issues, and reports that our new RUK/PB HARM modes in the Viper just fly straight to the steerpoint instead of tracking radar emissions.
Itās been so long since the combat side of DCS functions properly that I find it hard to fire up DCS any more.
Damn.
Yay!!
Damn
Woohoo!!!
Annoying but expected
Iām surprised this was even thought about. How would they get the data? Thatās ridiculous.
I could never see me wearing DCS clothingā¦I totally would wear it .
