Juche power will bring victory!
This reminds me…for the love of all that is good and right, can DCS please add more callsigns!?!?
…and Russian callsigns too!!!
Couple of shots from HolloPoint last night with @Wes and @Franze. I’m sorry I couldn’t stick around but I’ll try and stop in a little more. I love that mission.
All good! We have also been testing out Back of the Hand as another good multi-role mission with Hornets. Me & @Franze took on a S-300 site there too - it’s outside the AO but why not!?
I’ve got a few pictures to add here when I get back to my PC.
For individualist imperialist sky pirates, kiddie movie names are necessary. Russian sniper pilot of great professionalism needs no “callsign”, flight number is good enough.
OK…then flight numbers in Russian!
When I fly my flanker or fulcrum I get Russian voices calling each other by number and the airfields by codename. Perhaps you should fiddle a bit with the options screen tovarish @Hangar200
From the 16th - Erl Sis:
After moderate success and a few losses, @Dark_Star joined the game and we went after the airfield at Krymsk as a flight of 3. RDR Fighters decided this time, they didn’t want to fight however.
I launched a maverick right through the hanger doors. Scratch one more.
From the 18th - Erl Sis:
From the same sorties as @Franze & @Andrew116 posted.
Our accident scene - not sure how he got through that in one-ish piece, touching a fence with any speed for us players is a instant ka-blam!
We’ll just buff out those scratches…
Myself, Andrew & Parenteau:
Nice.
Posting at simHQ it appears vertical screenshots are not downsized and the results are positive. Thought I’d see how a vertical pic posts here
Oh…it’s definitely sexier looking here. We have advanced color correction, degaussing algorithms, standard trilinear pixel crunching, and backlight enhancement power fluctuators. Mudspike is YOUR place for excellent visuals. Or your money back.
lol Beach, the scooter is definitely sexy. And if you double click on the pic, it’s centerfold material
I haven’t had a chance to fly it yet…been busy with a couple other projects, but want to check it out soon!
Tonight’s flying…
Crossing the streams with the Harrier. For some reason, it’s easier than in the Bug.
Hawk bagging a Flanker after I shot down one with a Sidewinder. Bug guys were getting hammered.
Some kind of very unique bug with the Rockeye/Mk20/CBU-99 in the game now: if you drop at 1600-2000ft, you get an absolutely devastating pattern that absolutely rips things to shreds. The higher you go, the narrower the dispersion!
10 Rockeyes dropped at 1700ft in auto mode. VT, INST, HT 1500. Somethin’s borked.

Had some fun flying an Op Allied Force style mission.
As I was stepping to my jet to head in country one of the Intel guys passed me the coordinates to an artillery battery that had started shelling refugees about 10 miles north east of Tskhinvali. Understandably this was a priority target.
The artillery battery in question.
Beautiful winter day over Georgia.
Eliminating the battery with extreme prejudice.
Mission accomplished.
My kind of mission. Not overly complicated. Straightforward target. Fun and fun. I approve!
VMFA-314 from 2005 and a “modern” paint scheme.
VMFA-251
VFA-106
Next step is headed towards Eagle Dynamics Headquarters.
Always fun to look at these two. When the A-10 receives it’s new external updates, I plan to adjust and send them this Red Devils Anniversary livery as well.
