Coming back from taking out critical red high value targets in the F-14.
Three little Harriers went out one day
Across the water and far away
Mother CWC said “Quack, quack, quack, quack”
But only two little Harriers came back.
@AndyE, @Franze and Myself form up for a raid on Kish airfield in @WreckingCrew’s Ira’Dib.
Flying out to target with @Dark_Star joining up from the rear.
Vectoring in to the target. Enemy radars got a look at us and sent some MiG-29s up to say hello, and unfortunately made contact with @Dark_Star, the night’s only casualty.
The series of HARM’s all went all for the sole available target, the SA-2 search and track radar. Having taken that out, the subsequent missiles went dumb but conveniently managed to kill off a launcher and a truck.
After this raid we went back for round two with JSOW and knocked out the runway. Finally, a raid on Bandar Abbas airfield which was sending JF-17s out with their SD-10s. A well planned raid put a halt to that nuisance. Runways, tower, taxiway to ramp and another SA-2 out of commission.
Me and @AndyE come back to Al Minhad airbase, clean. Our exfil took place at mach 1.3 to mach 1.5 by removing our empty drop tanks. JF-17s coming up to meet us got to meet @Franze and the F-14.

Yesterday afternoon that mission got updates to add two supply airfields for Blue - Tunb Island and Lars.
And for Red, when they fly south into Dubai airspace there are now Blue fighters who will come up to say Hi!
And Red armor forces were upgraded so they will be better matched to the Blue around Al Minhad.

That explains a lot. We where scratching our heads last night wondering how we had missed them being blue bases in the past lol.
You’re UTC +9, right? Most of us are -4 to -7 and we typically play in the evenings. So it’d be somewhere around 0800-1200 at your time for our active hours.
Is there a Discord/TS server or is it just a casual “Hey, you sober? Wanna fly” thing?
Being sober hasn’t stopped me from playing DCS before…I mean, it’s not my preferred way, but it’s not a complete no-no.

Jettisoned stores for a belly landing.
My friend necromanced Jester’s dead body back into life by jumping in the back just in time to see the spectacle.
Well, one of you walked away from that landing.
I’d be more concerned with what the pilot is currently doing with his hand, given that posture…
