Your english is flawless mate, as is your flying
Quite unlike my horrible attempts at landing the mighty turkeybird. If it werenāt for direct lift control, Iād have struck the ramp on at least two occasions.
But I did manage to shoot down a seaskimmer missile with the gun!
Waaaay way too kind! ![]()
Jesus, that thing caused the equivalent of a small nuke-worth of destruction!
They donāt call the BK90 Mjƶlnir for nothing!
How is that word actually pronounced? @Troll?
Iāve heard it said out loud, and itās pronounced as Mjƶlnir. ![]()
Well, āMjƶlnirā ![]()
Or as āMjƶlnerā.
Hereās a small video I just made with both pronounciations.
Thanks!!!
I thought sheās from Iceland?
My wife tells me that in Norway you donāt say Thorās hammer but something that translates roughly āThor with Hammerā
Soā¦what is the name of Thorās Lathe? ![]()
Thatās right. According to Norse mythology, Tor never went anywhere without his hammer, Mjƶlnir.
In modern times it has actually spawned a childrens TV show, called āTor and his hammerā, where a carpenter named Tor, makes stuff with and for kids⦠Good show, actually. ![]()
āSvarvirā ![]()
To norsify any word, we just put a āirā, āurā or āerā behind it.
Sounds like an old joke.
āWhatās Thor doing over there with his hand?ā
āHe is with his⦠Hammer.ā
I might be 1/4th Swedish but donāt ask me to understand the language!
Been getting my eagle on lately, just to get a feel for it. Listening to eagle month on the fighter pilot podcast, I just had to know what that machine is all about.
Whoa.

bit of training with my friend tonight. I figured out the LTD and the JDAM and smashed some stuff up which was very satisfying!!
we had some odd glitches and stuff like tyres blowing out randomly and hovering sidewinders!! plus we got to stare at @Wes and put him off his takeoff in the gorgeous 190! great fun!
Returning with @Wes after a anti-ship strike. We were testing the viability of the Viggenās radar to pass targeting solutions to Bugs with Harpoons. It sort of worked but my RB-15s were faster than the Harpoons and all four missiles were overkill for the small Grisha that got hit.
