I have a Mig-21 mission that I slapped together, that includes Turkish F-4s and F-5s - while I agree that the F-5s have a cool looking skin, I am forced to admit that I have only admired it via my rear view mirror…and there were a lot of tracers in the way

The updated gun sight is awesome - I have been able to land hits, even if just a few, out to a mile.

I did the all the 1v1 2v2 and 4v4 missions tonight and only got shot down twice against a mig23 with a heater and the mig 21 got me fair and square.
The hardest one to beat was the 21!! It’s just so bloody fast.

Roger that! I found if I got him to put his nose above the horizon i could out turn him and get behind but if I let him go downhill then he had me. Keep his nose up.
To be fair it would of been easier in VR but I was comfortable and didn’t want to move and set it up lol
Ya on the down swap to lag-pursuit since you won’t catch him anyway - build the energy so you can catch him on the way up. The alpha also lets you take it closer to stall.

He sent a burst over me but missed by a long way. I love dog fighting in the hornet. It makes me feel like I’m actually good at it lol.
Going Gunzo on things is very satisfying. I’m learning the systems now and the work is paying off. It’s so much fun.

There is also a really nice Pakistani skin from the skin makers at the DCS site. I think I’ve seen you using it. Really nicely done skin.
I was following that advice with the MiG-21…then I realized that the fear in the eyes I was seeing was my own reflection in the rear view mirror

I had a great evening on Hollo Pointe North. @wes was so kind to put on no-effort for us, so we could have some BFM sparring. I flew red, meaning I got to choose from a small assortment of MiG’s and not fly south to meet my opponents.
It was great, great fun. I completely forgot all outside woes and concerns. It was just planes, banter and pixel bullets. Thank you very much @Victork2, @sobek and @scoop.
At first, @Victork2 was almost easier to kill than bots, as those do never lose sight or SA. But he quickly caught on and with a little coaching became pretty dangerous in mere hours. The evening ended on a glorious guns kill by him on my MiG-29…
I don’t have the screenshot button handy when I’m fighting, so I don’t have many shots. I reckon @Victork2 will provide some of them in this thread later on.
This is a very cocky, very doomed hornet buzzing my little shiny MiG. I managed to land it twice, but didn’t walk away from the second landing 
It runs out of gas right quick, but man what a fun and deadly little fighter!
I also took a ride in the larger Sukhoi bird. Pretty, and at least as deadly as her smaller cousin. After getting one of the tailfins clipped in an exchange I tried ordering repair, but it didn’t work and I just hopped in a -29 again. This one I didn’t get to try landing, as it got mercilessly gunned down by a victorious hornet driven by a much improved @Victork2 who must be over the moon with that kill 
@sobek your viper gave a really hard time. Our first fight didn’t exactly start out even, and that second one ran me almost out of gas. I think you were on the right track, as you were out of range a lot of the time, making me waste fuel trying to run you down. Those fast circles don’t do it vs my -29. I was inside your circle all the time, but every time you extended, the window on a shot closed right quick. Speaking of spoiled shots, your evasive technique is spot on. You rolled it away out of at least two or three shot opportunities and got me to overshoot on at least one occasion.
These tacviews should make for interesting viewing.
