I know what you mean- last night I wanted to make a small test with raindrops on canopy and the FPS impact they have…
Cooked up a stupid simple mission with the J-11 (I had never tried it), take off from a sea side base in Caucasus, Weather Overcast+Rain 1.
Oh. My. God.
One hour and a half later I landed at a random base, absolutely blasted away by the quality of it all.
It’s such a pleasure to just fly away…
Stunning.
(Yes this is the reason I haven’t put up my elite screenshots :P)

Second mission from Operation Reforger Campaign for the Tomcat. And a lot of clouds. Didn’t had so much fun since F-14 Fleet Defender back in 1995. Love this cat.
