Yeah I just bought a new fast 1TB SSD dedicated entirely to DCS- at this point it’s the only sane thing to do.
Edit: I literally can’t believe I’m doing this…

over the main islands performance seems very good (probably due to lack of trees) … solid 36fps in VR no stutter, nice and smooth

Hmmm. I might have to pick up the SA terrain. After lurking on the Harrier thread, and reading @Deacon211’s posts, I’m now getting the itch to fly it. It looks like it will be a very versatile map. I was seriously considering pulling the trigger on IL2 Normandy today but it will have to be one or the other…decisions decisions.
