why does it look so awful all of a sudden, objects not rendering, pop in, loads of it. checked all my settings and nothing seems amiss

Is it purely visual, as in same range and trajectory as AIM-7, or is it really the DCS model for the MIM-23 but just the operating procedure is the same as the Sparrow?

Tracks like a Hawk!
It has noticeably longer range than any of the AIM-7s, although the weapon system registers it as a Sparrow. Using it certainly feels like using a Hawk.
