you don’t need to have the winwing software running for most stuff, unless you are syncing lights and MDF screens with the game, I just used it to setup the MFD panels then used DCS to set the button pushes for them
Whelp, got the Dora in the sale
I have too many hangar queens, though…
Thanks. That’s awesome to know. I can move forward without it in this case and save on some resources.
thinking about Jug slash Mossie but then there is XP and MSFS …
and we all know how it ends
I can recommend both of them. They, along with the Anton on the German side, are my favourite WWII modules. The attention to detail is amazing.
Porque no los…quattros?
it will show 0’s when paused too IIRC.
What @tempusmurphy said.
I’ve not looked at this since I first plugged in the WW stick but when/if you ran their software I think it would automatically make an edit in your export.lua; so I deleted that entry. Now, again, they may have improved on this or eliminated it all together. I’ve no use for these things; haven’t looked at it in months.
Dora is actually super easy to learn for a WWII fighter! A good choice
She’s mostly docile and quite maneuverable. Landing is a bit tough…GE sounds a bit more pronounced than in the other warbirds. Not sure how much I can fly her though, the recent updates have totally destroyed VR performance for me on Channel, but work fine on Sinai.
I watched this trailer but didn’t noticed that.
ORBX
Kola Peninsula
From my experience, ORBX makes great GA scenery for P3D and FS so I believe that this map will be a good one.
eee by gum, lad!
So many maps, so little content … (day one buy because I’m an idiot)
Did you know that the best (IMO) DCS campaign creators, @Baltic_Dragon and Reflected_Simulations, are creating a campaign that can be flown from either a Finnish F/A-18 or a US F-16 to go with the Kola Map?
It’s called Arctic Thunder.
But I don’t fly either of those planes and I’m still buying the map on day one and yes I’m an idiot. Not arguing with that part.
I would like to start a petition to officially retire the word “thunder” and its close relation “lightning” from any and all combat related gaming, book, TV, or film titles.
We can add the elements Pb and Fe to that as well.
At this point they are so overused as to be like saying “uh” or “like” multiple times in a sentence.
Thats not ‘yellowbelly’ speak
