Well, they’ll serve the Ukrainian Airforce, at least
Enough early retirees from several airforces, that may be interested. Or, active service personnel may be given leave of absence to act as military advisors.
Makes me think of the Swedish Voluntary Fighter Squadron that served in the Finnish Winter War.
The Swedish government loaned about a third of the Swedish Airforce fighters, to the Finns, to fight the Soviet invasion.
Swedish hardware and personnel, but no official participation, as the Finns had the operational command…
A huge gap in my knowledge of military history… At the boots on the ground level, I have read about “The White Death” who IIRC was a sniper who got most of his kills with a PPSH! but there isn’t a lot out there in English about individual or small group operations in the Winter War.
Have they decided on a number? The problem, AFAIK, was that Norway had agreed to sell 32 airframes to Romania…
Not sure how many that leaves for Ukraine?
Playtesting a killbox in my Sinai Sandbox. Figured out the Mudhen’s GMT radar but it’s still like throwing blindfolded punches into outerspace until you get a radar return.
Yeah, that’s the best one yet. The Rockeye and napalm sequences remind me so much of the real video.
Reflected’s Paradise Lost campaign has this vibe in spades. Imagine the night firefight scene and you having to do a resupply right in the middle of all those tracers going back and forth. In VR. Gets the adrenaline flowing.
