You’re lucky you had video evidence! No one would have believed your approach was that good after catching a 1-wire.
Lol. It’s a rarity in my logbook. But it does happen when I get complacent. Those who know me and fly with me know I’m better than that, so I don’t sweat it. I had lift, and then I didn’t, and I did too little to correct for it. Oh well. On to the next pass.
Bit of a self promo, participating in a competition to win a F-4E Crewpack This is my contender video for the Trick part of the “Trick or Threat” competition by Sidekick:
Nice flying!
You forgot the most important part of self-promo: what should we do? Is there some place we can vote for you, do you need likes/comments?
No, Sidekick is the judge on that solely.
To the contrary, if you want to participate, feel free to join his discord at The Sidekick Discord Server and submit a video. The rules are explained in the #trick-or-threat channel. Good luck
Mate, you should do them more often.
Although I am usually Metal AF when it comes to this sort of sound track, what a refreshing change of music for a DCS vid - I was not expecting that even if the JASDF livery should have been a give away.
Thanks! Not quite metal but I’ve got two hard-ish rock (I’m bad with genres) ones originally for my Instagram. They’re unlisted on YouTube for storage but the audio compression is awful.
Amazing flying, if you’re interested I can send you a link for the CVA-31 Bon Homme Richard I’m currently doing for DCS?
I would love to try it!
Looks like it would be an easy fit if you banked 90 degrees.
Wheels
Yeah but where’s the fun in “easy?”
If you don’t mind some modding: CVA-31 Bon Homme Richard, DD-731 Maddox and a P 4 torpedo boat is now contained in my Vietnam War Vessels mod for DCS:
Truth told, the carrier needs a lot more love and testing
