With the warbird sounds getting better and better, I wish they could fix that tire screech sound… Sounds like you’re landing with the brakes on or something…?

It’s the tail wheel touching the ground… Everytime you see smoke from the tires you’ll get that screeching sound. Doesn’t matter if you land on a hard surface or on grass. I feel the same way…

I can’t remember if it did it previously, but I like how the tailwheel squats now. Shows a nice weight transfer. The main gear seem pretty tame. Yeah, that tailwheel screech needs taming.
No that’s all new. The P-51 is much more lively as the wide undercarriage and the weight of the P-47D dampen the effects quite well. The P-47 is much nicer to handle during rough landings now as is the P-51D
I won’t do a P-51D video as I’ve seen quite a few already that showcase the effects on the Pony. Here’s an example:

A surprisingly ‘immersive’ addition (WIP) with the latest update, specifically the shockwave and thrust interaction with grass/trees. Still needs work but quite fun.

My dad told me a great story about doing some CAS for a Marine company who was holding a hill, but getting mortared from an adjacent hill. The FAC asked dad what ordinance they had for their tormentors. He replied that they had some Mk82s, rockets, and a 2000 lb bomb. The Marine CO asked the FAC if they could put the big one on top of the harassers. Dad did so gladly, but he and his GIB noticed that the shockwave went over the Marine position as well. Shortly after, the FAC came up to say that the Marines had reported that whatever that was, to please not drop it near them again. They would rather be mortared.

As fun as uprooting trees with viper jetwash is, I rather seen those cpu cycles used on proper AI.
