While the plane sure is fun to fly and VERY impressive if you consider it is “only” a mod:
I am kinda unhappy with the flight model.
I cannot even tell what it is, but it feels…odd. Like it has way too much power.

It uses a simplified flight model, so yes, it will feel off if you’re used to the official modules.
Yeah I guess we are just spoiled by the high quality of the DCS flight models. Those feel so much better than even the “good” ones from other games.
A few years ago (LOMAC or even FC2) it would have felt fine.
Yeah the simple flight model is…strange. The lack of rudder coordination and the wonky pitch sensitivity is what throws me off most in the Scooter. That and the height of the cockpit over the roll axis.
All that said, I really like zooming around on my Scooter.
I like the challenge of manual bombing as well. I could do in in the F-5, but the F-5’s payload is so tiny it’s not quite as fun as the Scooter…I mean, who doesn’t like dropping 18 Mk81s?

It has a ton of new features, most prominently a visual overhaul of interior and exterior and all the tiny quality-of-life improvements.

Great Mod at a great price. Seriously, this mod has more support than some official mods. It is a wonderful aircraft. I need mo scooter time!
