All owners of DCS: F-5E not wishing to upgrade can enjoy their aircraft as is. It will continue to be supported for the foreseeable future as this is an optional update
this is the main point for me. nobody is pushed here into anything and thats good thing

I see your perspective and I do have to agree with it. The value added by A-10C II eclipses this. I definitely also understand the need to make ends where they can, but we couldn’t have gotten an additional pair of Sidewinders?
I’m going to get it since it’s free, for me, but some changes to the content would’ve been greatly appreciated. A-10C II upgrade was a killer upgrade, this one’s just kind of middle of the road. I really love the updated models and textures, but some more functionality would’ve been a real slam dunk.

Boiling frogs, is all I’ll say. Some very short-term memories or simply didn’t notice a lot of the FREE upgrades that have come in the last few years that are more or less equivalent to this one. They should have fronted the $10 to the cost for new users while current users get the fixes for free.

Good comparison there, IMHO. The market will decide if this course works or not. I am fine with it.
