Oh man. I was going to come in and say now that looks like the Hornet I recognize but watch at about 4:50 as the jet decelerates on the downwind leg.
I have been trying to get good through years of FSX and P3D, and no matter how much I tried the F/A-18E or F-14 or what have you never slowed down that fast as described by the NATOPS. Just look how it flies… This is gonna be good.

anybody knows what this flashing symbol means? I noticed it in the AV8B as well, but couldn’t find anything about it in the pocket guide.

Ghost velocity vector because he has caged the hud. Caging the hud makes the pitch ladder and velocity vector remain in the center of the hud instead of following the true vector of the aircraft, which is helpful if you are trying to fly precise pitch attitudes or see symbology that will drift alot with either slow speed/sluggish aircraft, or high crosswinds.
The ghost vector shows you what your actual vector is, with a caged hud, and the vector can be displayed in the hud.
If its flashing that normally means it is hud limited IE outside the display limits of the hud.
Note at 6:45 in the video he cages the velocity vector and it jumps slightly, whereas before it had remained locked in the center of the hud.

This module just looks more and more amazing every day. Need to resist temptation and keep plowing along in my learning of the A-10C. At least until such time as there is a Chuck’s guide available along with 50 million YT videos on how to learn this airplane 
(Much like the A-10C)

I’m sticking with the Harrier as the gateway drug. It’s a blast to fly and some of the traffic pattern is similar.
