Will this also reflect in steam?
Theyāll take part in the Steam autumn sale. Thatās not very far out, about 2 weeks, probably.
Thanks!
Think iāll be grabbing the AV8B nowā¦training missions complete and according to Baltic Dragon a campaign and the manual not far off Canāt complain at half price!
Baltic Dragonās mission and campaigns are absolutely a work of art!
Think Iāll finally pick up the Nevada terrain with this sale.
Tempted to get the I-16.
Speaking of Baltic dragon⦠how is the MiG-19? Especially content-wise?
I ran the training on it twice and then got distracted before getting into the campaign. Itās at Mirage 2000 level. Do it! Do it!
Considering F-5. I not much into the āmodernā stuff but needs something which can do quite well in that modern environment of BlueFlag.
Is the RWR enough good for some SA?
yeah its RWR is very decent.
Iām hovering on the spitfireā¦i just sold some stuff on Ebay and my paypal wallet is begging to be usedā¦but Iām not convinced I need it as the tf51 is more than adequate for my air display needs.
Dude. Need I say more?
Yep. I get you. It will probably happen to be honest lol.
The Spitfire is great, especially in VR. It is like a childhood dream come true to virtually strap into it, looking off to the side and seeing that beautiful elliptical wing with the light catching the very authentic looking panel lines and imperfectionsā¦
I added this recent documentary to my iTunes collection:

Favorite quote (shown in the trailer)⦠āShe was a Lady in the air, and a ā ā ā ā ā on the groundāā¦
The DCS Spitfire captures that pretty well I think.
If you do get it, make sure that you bind an axis other than toe brakes for braking. You really need the finesse of the hand brake. I used the slider on my Warthog Throttle for this until I upgraded my stick to the VirPil WarBRD/MongoosT50 CM2 combination that has a hand brake axis. That really helped to tame her on the ground.
I almost made it through the sale without buying anything.
Almost.
I bought the PG map and the C-101 for a family member and somehow the I-16 jumped into the shopping cart.
Nice little plane, but not easy to takeoff. Or fly. Or land.
Curious how it will look in VR. Will try that tomorrow.
Yep, the I16 found itās way into my hangar too. I have no particular interest in it, but it was the only module missing from my collection. I guess I am officially a collector of DCS modules. There are worse things to spend the money on I guessā¦
You are a good gift giver! One of my favorite flights everā¦even though we were just goofing around, was when me and @fearlessfrog gave the C-101CC a whirl in multi-crew. LOLā¦it was really neat to be sitting there watching bombs fall from the wings and be talking to each other. Someday multi-crew is going to be really great in DCS Worldā¦somedayā¦
@schurem jumped into the rio seat on my tomcat unexpectedly a few weeks ago. It was fantastic. Most memorable thing to ever happen to me in flight sims. Bloody hilarious
Ditto, I still wake up screaming in a cold sweat every other night.
We are going to have such fun in the Mi-24 mate! Be sure to bring a barf bag tho, when it comes to driving whirlybirds Iām just as hamfisted as you
