DCS Screenshots [2025]

The Hammelburg range has been my home for the past few weeks. A couple Kiowa and Hahn Phantom shots. I have some Ramstein Phantom shots coming later.

Flying my home-state colors. Didn’t even know we had Kiowas.

BDU-50s finally got a visual upgrade. No feedback when dropping them though. I wish they smoked like the BDU-33s.

“I want some butts!” -Mayor of Frankfurt, probably.

They modeled the ejector pistons :exploding_head:

Now that’s attention to detail!

I love Aerges for the fact we even have the C-101 and Mirage F1 in the sim, but you gotta admit that Heatblur go above and beyond with their modules, right from the start with Viggen!

Ramstein birds. Or bird since I only fly the one Euro-1 tail number we got

Having a range with target objects already there is great. I added simple triggers to the containers so there’s a message saying which one you destroyed.

The detail in seemingly irrelevant locations is mind-boggling. If you crawl into the front wheel well there’s a fun Easter egg. See if you can find it

Sparrows on an F-4F?

Don’t tell anyone. I know the Germans cheaped out again but I like my sparrows

Really wish we had more non-GAFTIC or other exercise liveries for the German Phantoms.

Have you guys tried long range boresight (flood) mode yet? Pretty fun.

Not in the Phantom but I’ve messed with the Tomcat’s flood mode a few times. Way easier than messing with that guy in the back seat.

Speaking of which. Does anyone know if we are still getting an updated Jester for the 'cat?

Jester sits in the time out corner.

We’re supposed to get Jester 2.0 at some point. We were also supposed to get an AI A-6 in the summer of 2023 and the Iranian/A-95-GR “shortly” after we got the A-135-GR but then we get teasers of a B(U) and then people derail the forum thread (on ED Forums) nitpicking how far the turbine warning line extends on the upper fuselage on one of fifty variations of Jolly Rogers liveries we have

Honestly the perfectionist take of having every variant its own separate and complete module is slowing development–and I bet not worth the ROI for the devs considering it’s not priced much higher than single modules without variants. At this point just give us options in the special tab to add/remove stuff like most of the other modules do.
