It was a fun challenge nursing her back to the FARP. I was in a hover, getting ready to look for targets way out ahead of me when the tracers started whizzing by the canopy. I took over from George, turned away and started to accelerate, which saved me when the tail rotor was taken out. If I had still been in the hover I am pretty sure it would have been irrecoverable.

Lesson learned, you are vulnerable when hovering, so be sure there are no threats close by before going heads down with the avionics and sensors.

Adding the Korean vibe, hopefully.

Unfortunately the bridle stays always on during flight, seems the Essex '44 doesn’t play the launchbar sequence for the planes…

Allow me to do my part  (with the plane, not the location) I’m very excited about the upcoming Fulcrum. I already have the others MiG’s but I haven’t flown them for a long time, maybe not even once this decade. I remember that here on Mudspike we did events where we brought out our hangar queens.I thought it’d be a good time to give them a spin again.

Bringing her up for a long ferry through Syria

If I have enough gas at the end I’ll practice some strafing. I’m navigating on the ADF.

Not much but desert for many miles.

Can see the coast. The aft tank is empty now. I have more than enough gas.

I can see the airport during my descent

saying hi to the locals

Used the fishes for strafing practices. After flying the corsair for 2 days straight, it was fun to fly something that happily sustain 6G again.

Made it.

Never flew her much. All I know is she loves gas and the R3 doesn’t have stellar perfomance on fighters. With Germany introduced now (it looks stellar!) she now has her territory to defend even if her career fighting for the LSK was short lived.

Lets see how far she goes with twin afterburners!

I know this module has a bit of age on her, but with a bit of love to her interior and sound design this could be a much more immersive module. Also, the marker tone is terrifying!

Made it home

That was such a great hot rod to fly. Probably my 2nd most flown plane after the Sabre

Hot Rod is a great way to describe her! She is so eager for speed. At first, I didn’t even knew that the mil-power button gave even greater thrust without reheat. That makes her really quick without using too much gas. I tried booting up the crime & punishment campaign but it seems broken. It seems that since the Razbam situationship, baltic dragon is no longer maintaining it. big shame.

Yeah, not sure if BD was paid by RZ to make the campaign or not but since nobody can buy it any more (it came with the -19 didn’t it?) I imagine it’s on the backburner. Sad.

Looks pretty from any angle

You on the reserve tank? Primed? Magnetos? Also, when you increase the richness, you should let go of the starter quite quickly or it’ll shut down on you again. I found it gave a bit of extra leeway by giving it a few extra inches and letting it run for a bit before increasing the mixture.

reserve tank - check, primed - check, magnetos - may have forgot the magnetos :slightly_smiling_face:
