And on my PC!

Mainly old missions issues for me. Clean though it seems to work very well. The ED download was very fast too.

EDIT: Duty implores me to post the link to the beta reporting forum too:

Sweet Mother of Pearl!

I just ran a comparison flight of the Huey ‘Harbor Tour’ (the one over Novorossiysk) and where I was getting 30-40 FPS over the city it is now a solid 100 FPS. A good three times performance improvement.

Very happy, especially with VR coming down the pipes.

Huge success so far for me.

Sweet frame rates!!! I cant wait to try it.

Just completed a quick flight in a Su-25T (as the module manager server seems to be getting pounded). Login server must be taking a beating too.

Everything else?

Sweet.

Just … sweet.

FPS was noticeably higher, shadows everywhere, trees everywhere. Love the look of the Black Sea map. Interface is nice and crisp and I love that ‘flying through the clouds’ main menu animation.

Now, lets see if I can coax the module manager to let me into other aircraft

I’d like to take the time before I forget to shout out a thanks to @wagmatt and the ED community crew for keeping us updated on the last minute grind. The combat flight sim community is not the most gracious, understanding, or pleasant one to deal with, but I applaud that they gave us the news all the same. It made the wait far more bearable.

Took a quick round here in the Su-25T. Just how light interacts with the environment is love!

I guess I have to play with some settings a bit. It sure looks nice but a bit too… de-saturated.

At the moment I am trying to install all my modules…

Oh, and btw: Thanks, ED! I will sure test teh heck out of that thing.

Man trying to not get to excited. My pc is not new. Hoping that since I can run dcs world 1.2 that means I can run 1.5. My biggest concern is 1.5 not being able to run on my pc.

Actually, the new maps like Nevada that use the new terrain tech run faster and look better

Thats awesome @wagmatt

Also forgive my ignorance. Does dcs utilize multi core? Last I checked it didnt really but that was years ago. It runs thats all I cared about.

2.0 is pretty good too…

The DX11 move shifts a lot of the rendering to the Graphic’s card GPU, so although 1.5 doesn’t have significant changes to how the CPU cores are used it still runs more efficiently. It can handle more units/AI etc on the existing cores basically because they are doing less as the GPU does more.

That’s my take anyway. @BeachAV8R is the one will all the 2.0 info apparently

Sorry…too busy flying it to comment… Stay tuned… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Sooo… I just read over at the ED forums that two seat multiplayer is working in the L-39? Can anyone confirm?

@wagmatt Thanks for the great update!

It’s working but currently only as a ride-along.

If they are like you and I…they are trying to figure out how to start the APU…

Just hold down the Windows key + press Home. I always carry those two keys in my pocket when flying United and it works about 50% of the time… :airplane:

Lord I hope not, APU was already running!!!

@SiThSpAwN or @wagmatt Do you consider aircraft skins from users mods? Just curious as Sith had said for BETA problem reporting no mods should be used,
