looking good
Under some lighting conditions it can look a little glossy. But I’m still very happy with it

Forgot to screenshot the settings, will do later. Shoould try lower shadow settings to raise framerate.
If there’s anything George Lucas taught me was to newer swap huge mean furry warriors with tiny ones.
Uuh… I meant “No texture is ever finished”.
Tell me what you really think and I’ll fix it!
Dayum that second shot looks like it’s from a AAA FPS game!
Need those trees in xplane. Wtf.
Great Screenshots guys… yes even though one of the painful download
I wish I was able to participate in the Normandy glory… I bought the product, but am a bit swamped at work at the moment…and I have a week of training next week in Dallas. I wish my Rift were compatible with my laptop…grrr… So it will be a week before I can probably join in the fun…
For me it went really well. I went and grabbed a coffee when first announced, the herd trampled a clear path and then download and installed without a hitch.
I’ve fiddled with the settings (and continue to fiddle), but as Matt said, some of them aren’t the same as before, and I have now got very happy with my VR and non-VR performance. That Deferred Shading is a fantastic bit of work, really gives the 2.x maps some nice lighting.
It takes some tweaking, and maybe turning down stuff you dont want to, but its acknowledged, and ED knows what it needs.
Well that is a curious coincidence. I’ll be there next week too.
Flying my first escort mission and tinkering with video settings. So, there are a bit of jaggies in these. We got jumped on by some Doras about halfway across the channel, but the rest of my flight dealt with them while I remained with the heard. I kept thinking that these might be decoys, but a second wave never materialized.
British armour crossing the Orne river at Pegasus Bridge (I wish they had made it the same as in RL)
The lighting is amazing. If you turn off MSAA in DCS options, but keep a high pixel density VR setting then it seems to run better. The Deferred Shading and the in-game MSAA don’t get along as yet.
