Just huck all your gear down to the local coffee shop. I’m sure they won’t mind…
I’m just concerned about my custom made Simpit desk.
Has no coffee mug holder…
Bogusheadbox, I would be disappointed in you if you hadn’t written that! You and Aginor, do you guys stick to flying jets in mostly air-to-air combat? I have a couple of missions that are air-to-air with No Labels; The Highway is No Labels and we’ll be running it for the Fly-In. There is typically a lot of ground based stuff in my missions that I like to show off with the Optional Labels - I really like watching MLRS come raining down!
It’s an easy enough setting so I’ll make another version with No Labels. I am happy to make this change for any of the missions for the Fly-In. And the missions are available on my site for you to download and modify.
What is the preferred setting for Model Enlargement?
I have some new Tanks vs Tanks missions (No Labels) that pit various countries armor against each other. Looking forward to some Red vs Blue armor battles with these short missions.

@WreckingCrew. Ohhh no, am i that predictable…
Unfortunately @WreckingCrew. i am primarily a mud mover, i think i come under the “basic” ability if tasked with a2a stuff.
But what i did forget to say is, regardless, thanks for offering your services of missions, you do make good missions.
Complete with socks and sandals
@Bogusheadbox, folks,
A new feature to the Erl Sis mission –
Designer Notes
- Labels: This mission has two versions: Labels Off and Optional. Use the Radio F10 Menu to switch. A mission restart is required; the request must be confirmed and may be canceled.
My preferred settings is labels off, enlargement small or medium.
It works for air to air and air to ground just fine IMO.
I don’t mind flying pure air to air missions as long as they are coordinated and halfway realistic. I will have to train a bit before the event though as I am a bit rusty with all the radars.
I prefer mixed missions or A2G though.
Woo hoo! Another fly-in, so looking forward to this.
And if everything goes as planned, I will have internet in November so the timing is perfect!
I’m optimistic to get some time in on Saturday the 12th, around EU afterboon hours.
Thanks Wrecking Crew for the mission design! Looking forward to doing some M-2000 strike missions. Coordinated Mi-8 utility missions are something I would love to see as well, if there are enough chopper pilots around
Hold your horses, everyone… it appears I’ve actually found a way to have internet at home!
It’s through a USB key with a SIM card- so probably not the best connection at all- but STILL!
In a coupla hours I’ll check at the store to see if it’s how I hope it is.
I hear a paperclip on the roof will work too.
It can work I guess. You will just burn through your free data budget pretty quickly.
Heheh that’s the trick, with this offer after midnight*, and until 8 o’clock, in the morning I have UNLIMITED POWER-- ehrm data.
During the day I got 30GBper month.
Pretty good to fly with 'Muricans!
- I call it the Gremlins contract.
May want to join one of those Coffee clubs as well for those late hours…
Any more news regarding this?
Also, regarding the whole label discussion, I should be around with LotATC telling you where the bandits are
We’re still on for next week.
Doesn’t the server need some files/configuration settings to support LotATC? Might want to share that so DCS hosts can set it up.
Any workshops leading up to this? i am brushing back up on the mirage… i have forgotten almost everything.
Some of us have a basic tac-formation / air-to-air / BVR workshop semi-prepared, but I think real life ™ is getting the best of us right now.
Coolio. Well just post up if anyone is doing anything in particular. I will keep plinking away at the youtube vids.
