As for the Fun run, Racenet wont let me connect, so it would seem I wont be able to do it, Ill try later on but if I dont get it done today i wont be able to run it before time expires tomorrow.
I am ready to see what this weekend will bring though.

Oh don’t worry, you definitely got third. 
My Racenet glitch meant I could actually continue, rather than having to retire after after Stage 1 because of my rather rapid meeting with Mr. Rock Face. 
Third is rightfully yours!
Definitely interested in what the “team” event for the weekend will be.

It seems this is effecting everyone, Steam forums are overflowing with complaints. The good news is that it’s only 6 stages and roughly 30-35 minutes of driving.
Quick Poll : Which class would you rather run a rally in again? They are the only 2 vehicle classes (which makes teams easier), and which would you rather run a race in this weekend.

Just finished Australia, I really enjoyed the switching between tarmac and dirt. I think I’m better suited to rally’s where the overall speed is slower, as I’m less likely to kill myself.

Yay I could drive stage 2!
I was pretty fast but took one wrong turn. No damage but lost several seconds.
Now the uploading hassle begins again so I can advance…

Btw this is the first car that I feel could need some tuning. The spacing between the last two gears is too much. I am at max rpm in 5 but when I shift while driving up a slope 6th gear is too low.
Edit3: nooooooo, it hangs again. Hoping…

Also: it seems that when you get the “server unavailable” message I am getting all the time you can safely go back to the main menu if the time is already posted (check via the website).
The game will throw you back to exactly where you left. I did that a few times now.

I’ve tried several times to connect today and like everyone else been struggling.
Managed to do 4 stages but it’s getting late here and I’m whacked. I’ve been bouncing around in my mini and it’s a blast.
For your info a mini was my very first car and I hand painted it with a friend one day. I have the same paint scheme in the rally although the finish is a lot better 
Will try to finish the rally tomorrow evening before closing time.

Well finally got it to work! Good times.
This sums up stage 2
Did that 3 times, Although the 3rd time I landed on my wheels, so practices makes perfect!!

Interesting result so far (won’t spoil it, if you want to see, vote!). Personally I prefer 4WD/AWD as you can properly drift with power, but the little 205 is so chuck-able that it’s great fun too.

Ill be honest, It was a tough choice, but horsepower was might ultimate decider. truth be told, it really doesn’t matter to me, I like all 4 selections.

Ahhhhhh I was on pace for a top 3 time on stage 2 and clipped a rock going around a corner. Sent me down a hill. Wasted a few secs trying to get back up and then a13 sec reset penalty. Couldn’t get it going again in time

After two brutal days “at” work, I’m going to have some time to try the wee Mini down under tonight. Probably drink some beer. Should be fun.

Omg. If I could stop making one huge mistake per stage I’d be closer to the top. This is terrible. Decent runs for middle of the pack and I keep doing something dumb that throws me back. Ahhhh
