Do you have any idea how many emails were being generated on a daily basis? With the size of our membership I think you could easily be surpassing the 9,000 a month free limit.

The good news with the update is that there is no longer an interference between the software āquote/copy quoteā tool and the iPhoneās ācopy/pasteā dialogue.

There have definitely been a few changes with this update. The Christmas lights at the top of the page are different, now the lights are green with two shades of blue without any red light plus they are much shorter. The preview pane is no longer open by default you have to use the new M button with a down arrow on the far left to open it . I also received two email notifications from this site for the first time in multiple years.

@fearlessfrog had to do multiple updates to get the email to work again. In the process several plugins had to be removed as they were outdated.
But the forum needed to be updated as nobody has dared to touch the update button out of fear of destroying the forum database.
So it makes sense that we needed the help from the fearless one. @BeachAV8R just had to find the Frog lamp which hadnāt been unpacked since he movedā¦

On my iPhone I keep getting the link that I have ā1 unread messageā at the bottom of a thread, but when clicking it, there is none.
Is it an off-by-1 bug? This never happened before, the informational message / link used to be reliable in the past.
Not a biggie, just an observation.
Just an FYI, Since the last update Discobot is not updating the Discord channel forum-notices section. The last update by Discobot in that section was on December 08, 2025.

Actually, Discobot is the one who approves vacations here at Mudspike. He never approves mineā¦

I guess the webhook stopped working after the site update?
That was my first thought as well. As I seem to recall @fearlessfrog had to modify the original webhook to get it to work when it was first associated to the DIscord account.

I came across another glitch since the update. When I attempted to post an IMDb link in the forums it throws this 202 error message in the preview area.
