I don’t have the actual magazines - just the type-ins. Used to belong to a number of Amiga and Spectrum groups many years ago and I’m pretty sure that’s where I got them all from. I have the names of the mags they came from, but that’s all.
PS - okay, I remember now - it was in a thread where we were discussing older games and in this case Spectrum, and our favourites. All the type-ins I have are for the Spectrum and there are hundreds of them. They only add up to 9.45Mb though, so I am uploading to Drive and will post a link as soon as it’s done. 9.45 meg isn’t much per se, but it’s 350 archives, so is taking a while.

All but 5 uploaded - don’t know which 5 it didn’t like, but if someone wants something that’s listed but missing (each directory has a list included, without formatting) I will look for it.

If watch the entire video you will know that the lead singer and keyboardist of the group Loyd Boldman passed away in 2014. However his son actually posted in the comments section of the video since he had only heard of the program and this was his first confirmation of its actual existence.

Here in Raleigh, NC, the National Guard flies those and every time I see one fly over I think of the many hours I spent with Jane’s Longbow.

This is the helo I want to see make it to the DCS world. I love the Kiowa, Cobra, and Black Hawk, but the Apache/Longbow is my all-time favorite helo. I had every Jane’s Longbow title ever released. If only…

I think it’ll make it there eventually; it’s only a matter of time.
I framed much of our ArmA2 content around the above in an attempted homage to it, but I’m not sure how many caught on.

There were some obvious nods like the music from Jane’s Longbow and not so obvious like “We build addons outside the box” 
to name a few.

What will be cool is a step by step instructions on how to put it work on a modern 64bits pc because i already did many tries and settings with dosbox and sadly it all goes weird performance and many joystick bugs. Thanks

edit: Also remember to calibrate your joystick in game - it should ask you to calibrate the first time you run a mission, you can recalibrate anytime in mission by entering options (ALT-O) and navigating to controls.

hi, thanks for the tips, but sadly everytime i open the game on dosbox and choose a mission when it finally loads the mission to go to 3d, it crash to dos with exception error 2001 
Have you installed the game yourself or did you found some pre-installed version on-line? I have the original release with Flashpoint Korea expansion on another CD as well as separate Gold edition (on 3CDs). I had no problem running all of them (3 versions: • base game, • with expansion and • Gold). Which version of DOSBox are you using? Also if you make CD images from your discs you can mount all the images at the same time in DOSBox under different drive letters - you won’t have to swap your images this way with CTRL-F4. The game recognizes all the CDs no matter which drive they’re in. Also make sure you mount your images with correct command, it should look something like this:
imgmount d d:\dosgames\iso\longbow\longbowcd1.iso -t cdrom
imgmount e d:\dosgames\iso\longbow\longbowcd2.iso -t cdrom
imgmount f d:\dosgames\iso\longbow\longbowkorea.iso -t cdrom
you may use -t iso switch as well, the important thing is that when using imgmount with -t switch DOSBox loads its own CD driver, without it some games running off of CDs may not work correctly.

i have the 3 cds and also iso files, yes i did the mounting of them and the game loads and go to menus etc, its only when i do fly and it goes out and start that . … . . . . loading the game to immediately fly that dos4gw crashed.
I haven’t encountered this issue myself. I’m using DOSBox 0.74 btw.

I tested before with 0.74 version, now i installed the 0.74-3 and it not crashed and worked smoothly
