Really? Welp. Guess I’ll have to drop all the gizmos then and pump those numbers
Dont let them fool you! My cutter fully loaded with 720 tons might get 23 lys.
Now I could derate some stuff, but for what 2 or 3 extra lys? Not worth it, Also remember you do get an extra 2 or 3 lys just by having an SCO enabled FSD.
Also I have have to do 14 jumps to finish the FSD upgrade, Still think its dumb you cant apply experimental to blueprints remote… Engineers don’t like talking to people so why make me go to them?
Yah but you’re carrying 4.5x the amount of cargo for slightly less jump.
A quick build in Coriolis comes up with a loaded jump range of 44 ly and unloaded of 67. Carrying 416t of cargo.
For the record you can pump those numbers up on the cutter too. This is carrying 736t with a 36 ly loaded jump.
Conda better FSD, Cutter better hauling.
Please forgive me if this was unwanted min/ max info dumping lol
edit: before someone complains about adding assists and docking computers, if I’m mindlessly hauling I like to let the ship do the work while I make the money lol
Yeah I’m not much for min/maxing. I prefer a ship that is truly multirole. For some reason my python has way more hours than the anaconda.
ROFLMAO gals and guys- check this.

Some crazy guy built a space station around a Neutron star and the results are absolutely crazy.
Dang.
That’s a shame but I’m fairly confident that there’s a lot more available.
It happened 3 more times. I spent several hours on Saturday afternoon scouting potential systems to colonise. 3 times I found a good contender and was beaten to it by someone else. On one occasion the colonisation ship jumped into the system literally as I was there using the FSS!
Finally, I found an interesting system just out of range but with an under construction system in between. So I figured I would wait there until there was only a small amount left to deliver and if I could be the one to deliver the last load I could be the first to dock at the new station and be able to stake a claim. When I logged in Sunday evening I noticed that there was only one delivery of Titanium left so I waited in system in my Cobra III. As soon as the station appeared I made a beeline for it and claimed this amazing system for Mudspike - Welcome to Gamma Muscae:
We now own no less than 9 stars, and the primary is a spectacular A class scoopable star! It’s a shame that the colonisation ship has dropped in around one of the most distant moons. We have just under three weeks to deliver the following commodities:
I’ve parked the Fei Lo around the same moon, selling most of the commodities required so hopefully it won’t take too long to build this first station. So come on down, any help ferrying goods across will be much appreciated. Whoever delivers the final load buys the first round of beers!
o7
PS: The colonisation ship is absolutely massive with 32 landing pads:
Once I get back from Khun, Ill jump over and start hauling.
Is there anyway to see what’s still needed other than being on the colonization ship?
Of course I am having two very intense weeks starting today…
I will try what I can but not doing well.
I think there is a way to view it in the galaxy map, but it might only be the system architect that can see it. I’ll do some research and get back to you in a bit.
Don’t sweat it too much. There is a lot of space in this system so I think we will be building stuff for a while. There will be plenty of hauling to do when you have more time
Thanks man- I appreciate
Yes! But you have to visit the system first. Once you have visited the system and either scanned the nav beacon or used the FSS then you can access the system view through the galaxy map, and the information is on there. For example, this is a system I was in over the weekend:
Click on “View System Map” on the right hand side:
If I then click on the colonization ship, select the “Architect View” on the left hand side, and select “System Colonisation” on the right hand side I can then view the commodities required:
EDIT: There seems to be some sort of inventory bug at the moment where when I buy or sell stuff it doesn’t always register as being in my cargo hold. Going out of the commodities market menu and back in again seems to force the game to update the inventory. So just keep an eye out for this.
I think I’ve got enough exobio scans for now. Let me swing through Shinrarta, drop off my data, pick up the Cutter, and come join you.
17 Jumps and Ill be in system with a cutter.
Question, how do you prevent other people from buying the stuff off the carrier?
Made it to the system, Had to detour a bit since i didnt bring a fuel scoop, Made a cmm composite run from the the Fei Lo to the colonization ship. Those inbound may want to bring some more cmm composites, Not sure how the update works but we might need more.
Docked for the night, Will pick up runs tomorrow afternoon.
As of last night I am the proud owner of my Federal Corvette “Sorcerer”.
Only thing missing is Engineering now, but it’s good enough to do regular ferry runs.
I will still probably rely on my Type 9 for effectiveness but alas, I am very very happy
Short answer: I can’t. I can restrict landing authority to prevent prevent those with notoriety from landing. I may be able to limit it just to those in my current wing but I’m not sure, I haven’t messed with that. But basically if someone can land they can commerce.
I think there will be a few things we need more of. I will make a list when I’m on tonight, it shouldn’t be very much.
Can’t you just increase prices in the market and make it prohibitivly expensive to buy from your carrier?
I think the cleanest solution is to make landing restricted to a wing/squadron.
