I’ve restocked Fei Lo and scheduled her to jump back to Gamma Muscae. The Frontier servers must be struggling with all the new squadron carriers as the jump time is currently 35 minutes!

Im currently in Sol for my first time ever! Grinding some fed rank, going to get that corvette sooner or later!
Ill jump back to Gamma and start hauling this afternoon.

Im kinda torn, at the release rate of new and improved ships, i half expect to get the corvette and something new and improved comes out.

I know what you mean, but it’s not clear cut. I have invested in a Panther Clipper and a T8 they are awesome - there’s no way I’m going to go back to using my T9 or python. However, I also have a Mandalay and I really haven’t found it to be any better than my explora-phantom - it sits idly in my hanger.
I have the clipper , T8, and Mandalay. All 3 are great.
Mandalay is my go to for exploration. T8 kinda sits idle for now.
My cutter is probably going to sit idle once this new miner comes out.

Im not sure what people were wanting. But in my eyes this is a dedicated miner, which is something we didn’t have. Every mining ship is something else that we outfit for mining. This is a miner. Medium pad ship which is awesome, No landing restrictions. Comparing it to the large pad ships isn’t really fair IMO.
I get what he was saying but I personally never expected it to be revolutionary, I expected a miner. I think it will be fun.

I think Buur point simply was ‘It’s not efficient’.
I do agree with his point too if you make a ship specifically for mining it has to be more efficient than any other, otherwise it’s simply not a mining ship, except in look.
Players would make a better use of their time using other ships to strip asteroids of mineral shards.
