Edit: Do you have to opt in to the beta program or something? I noticed it said it would be available to Horizons players but I don’t have an option to download it like I did with 2.2.

Yup. beta is voluntary and 5 pounds or something.
Honestly I think it’s better not to and spend those coins in the Vanity shop… 
You also get beta access if you were an early backer. But to be honest, i haven’t used beta for a very long time. There is quite a few who use beta for exploit hunting and alien base artifact finding, so they can be the first to get the claim or billions on release.

I’ve analyzed and acoustically shifted the alien noise to decode it. I think it’s trying to say (and this just is a rough approximation/translation):

Fun stuff in 2.3, and the new trailers look great.
I did do a spectrogram on the audio in the trailer, and it didn’t appear to have any obvious messages. But that kind of encoding is probably so very yesterday. But there’s bound to be something encoded in the trailer. Unless they throw a total loop and encode NOTHING!

That trailer was pretty cool…that sound at the end sorta reminded me of the sound those things made from War of the Worlds. Loved that movie…

Same feeling I had.
I feel weird that I just can’t get into the new aliens and stuff. Lets plot a course to Alien Battle Site [High Intensity] (43.1 Ls)…
Mean while I’ve been durping around exploring unidentified signals, I ended up chasing a wanted Eagle around until his friend showed up with an Anaconda, no matter though we worked through it.
Boom… wait… what!? 2k for doing more then 50% of the work on a conda… this is the second time this has happened to me lol
